



James (J.R.) Russell, Jr. joined the firm in November of 2004. Serves Goldman & Rosen as a litigator. He has maneuvered multiple cases through
the litigation process, including through settlement, or successful final trial and appeal.
J.R. successfully tried several cases for individuals and businesses before a variety of municipal courts and common pleas courts in Northeast Ohio,
including jury trial trials. He argued cases before the Third, Fifth, and Ninth District Court of Appeals. His success stems from his care and
understanding of the unique characteristics and needs of individual clients, and tailoring his advocacy to that end.
Prior to joining Goldman & Rosen, he worked for an AV-rated firm focused on complex and large asset domestic relations and family law matters. He started his career
with the Stark County Public Defenders Office where he gained a substantial amount of court experience in representing clients in municipal,
juvenile, and child support cases.
