



Mike has had a long and distinguished career in the practice of law. Because of his knowledge and awareness of issues, he has the ability to help
clients effectively contend with their legal matters. He is known for providing prompt and sound advice for business contingencies and planning.
For probate clients, he helps them protect or assert their interest in an estate or trust. In estate cases, he looks for the quickest, least
expensive way to resolve disputes.
Currently he concentrates on business law, estate planning, probate, probate litigation, and domestic relations.
After law school, Mike served in the U.S. Army JAGC (Judge Advocate General Corp) and later worked as Assistant City Prosecutor for the city of
Akron and as an instructor in the University of Akron College of Business.
A former president of the Akron Bar Association, Mike has served the association in a variety of capacities: Grievance Committee Chair, Incorporation
Committee Chair, Judicial Committee Initial Chair, and as a member of various committees. He was a member of the Supreme Court of Ohio Committee on
Professionalism, a Trustee of the Laurence School, and a Governor of the Small Firm and Solo Practitioner section of the The Ohio State Bar
Association. In addition, he served as a delegate to the Council of Delegates of the Ohio State Bar Association and a member of the Board of Governors
of the Ohio State Bar Association.
Currently, he is a Fellow of the American Bar Association Foundation and the Akron Bar Association Foundation, a member of the Ohio State Bar Association
Foundation, the the Akron and Ohio Bar Associations
