Michael recognizes that his clients’ legal problems play an enormous role in their lives. This gives him a sense of responsibility that
motivates him to represent them to the best of his ability. Michael works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, real estate law,
and bankruptcy litigation. In addition, he is respected for his knowledge of landlord-tenant law, and teaches continuing education
courses in the subject.
Michael joined the Goldman & Rosen team in 1999. Before law school, Michael worked in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, producing
and marketing the syndication of television shows. That experience informs his work as an attorney, because unlike many lawyers, he has
first-hand knowledge of how business operates.
Michael is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, where he was a member of the Bankruptcy Law Committee and Real Property/Environmental
Law Committee. In addition, he serves on the Akron Bar Association Business Law Committee. He also serves on the board of trustees for
Nazareth Housing Development Corporation, a charitable organization that provides affordable housing to the community.
